Dr. Paul da Costa, DVM DACVO
Dr. Paul da Costa is a 1991 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he worked in a specialty referral center in Florida for two years as an emergency doctor while training with a veterinary ophthalmologist. He completed a three-year ophthalmology residency in Arizona at the Eye Clinic for Animals with special training at Stanford Medical School, the University of Arizona Medical School, and the University of Florida Veterinary School. Dr. da Costa has numerous publications and enjoys speaking engagements worldwide. He has obtained a BS in Physics, a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist (Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists - DACVO). With the trust and support of referring veterinarians, Dr. da Costa has been practicing throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region since 1996.
